2.22.12 Our completer photo has been rescheduled for today.

Those attending BPA State Conference (Caylee, Sabrina, Nathan, Natasha, David A., Janell, David W., Angela, Jacob and Izzy) you will need to attend a meeting in room 1036 at 10:15 or 2:45. David A., you will attend in the PM session.

Today at 8:15, I would like to meet with all of our new students that recently started. We will meet at the round table in the center of the room.

Tomorrow, everyone but Kammi & Jessica will be taking their photos for their Francis Tuttle Student IDs

BPA Web Design Teams need to be spending about 15 minutes a day working on your presentation. You will be presenting next week in front of "judges" to help you prepare for contest.

Our class has two slots available for students who are interested in participating on March 27 at the BPA Day at the Capitol event. You will need $12 for lunch. Let me know by tomorrow if you are interested. It is first come, first served.

A lot of you turned in work while I was out. I will be playing catch up and trying to get all this added to your grade sheet as soon as possible!

Tomorrow is Collaboration Day at The Div. Adults, remember you can attend but you will need to send me an email. You will not be counted absent. You are still responsible for completing your work for the day. You will want to take a laptop so that you can complete your work.

Remember Schwan's BPA fundraiser is going on: You like to eat right? How about getting you some grub AND supporting BPA!! You can place on order online, or there are order forms located by the hand-in box. The truck will be on campus, March 2. This is when you will pay and pick-up your order. Make sure to tell family and friends. When placing your order online, make sure to use the following campaign number, 38341, for us to get a percentage of the sales. Last day to order is February 27.

R is for Ready!!

I'm ready to be back in class!! I miss you guys! Today I am out at Edmond Memorial High School talking to their Web Design classes and telling them how AWESOME our team is!

Remember to help each other and make sure you are completing a block a class period! If you aren't, you need to be doing homework!

Super proud of all of those that qualified for BPA State! To be eligible to compete, you need to make sure you meet the following criteria:

Those of you on attendance probation, need to be doing make-up time! Those of you that might not have such a great grade in class or at your high school need to be working on that!

Raises have already been earned! Have you earned one? In each course, you will have the opportunity to earn a raise (bonus points). Just like when you are on the job, you will have to ask for that raise. At the end of the course you will email the instructor with a subject line of raise. In the email, you will identify the things that you did that were above and beyond your job (course work) during the course time frame. Examples of the following would be considered above and beyond:

You probably will come up with some other ways that you can go above and beyond. Remember it's a raise so make sure the activies you do are worthy of earning a raise. Just doing one activity might not cut it, unless you did an AWESOME job on your one activity. If you earn the raise, you will receive 15 points extra credit toward the course you just completed.
