Tidbits
Hope you child enjoyed their experience at Summer Quest. If your child is interested in Web Design & Development and wants to learn more, Francis Tuttle offers a career training program in this area. Your child could enroll as a high school junior or senior. To help prepare your child, here are some tips:
- If you child will be on a college bound track, make sure all requirements are taking early allowing room for electives during their Jr or Sr. Year. A high school guidance counselor can provide more assistance.
- Make sure to take Algebra I and II
- Taking an Art class would help - although not a requirement
- Some High Schools offer Web Design classes. If the schedule allows, I would suggest taking this class.
Your child might also be interested in these career training programs, some of the competencies relate to Web Design & Development:
- 3D Animation and Visual Effects
- Audio and Video Production
- Graphic Communications
- Programming and Software Development
