about the program
Please keep your hands and feet inside the car, because you are about to launch an exciting ride in the field of web design and development.
While on the ride you will have the opportunity to work with many tools to equip you to be a successful Web Designer or Web Developer. You will gain fundamental skills in XHTML and CSS and learn to build web sites according to web standards. Through hands-on projects you will learn techniques for creating phenomenal web sites and even better, you will gain expertise in building database driven web sites using PHP and MySQL. That means you can build your own blogs, e-commerce applications or content management systems.
As the ride comes to a stop you can possibly earn up to 36 hours of college credit at OCCC. Plus you will have a wonderful souvenir of the ride – a digital portfolio to showcase your talent and abilities.
